When you first visit, we ask for your choice on non-essential cookies via a consent banner, and we apply Google Consent Mode — analytics and attribution stay off until you accept.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device to remember things like your session or your preferences. Some are essential; others are optional and only set if you consent.
Cookies we use
Essential (always on)
- sessionid — keeps you signed in (first-party; ~2 weeks).
- csrftoken — protects forms against cross-site request forgery (first-party; ~1 year).
- cz_consent — remembers your cookie choice (first-party; 1 year).
Analytics (only if you accept)
- _ga and _ga_* — Google Analytics (GA4): aggregate, anonymized usage so we can improve the site (set by Google; up to 2 years). Loaded only after you accept.
Attribution (only if you accept)
- cz_vid — a first-party visitor identifier that tells us which channels bring visitors and which pages convert (first-party; ~13 months). Set only after consent.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Managing your choice
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner. To change your mind at any time, use the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer — it reopens the banner so you can choose again. You can also clear the Citenzo cookies in your browser or adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in and forms.
